'Beneath the Aurora' is a fantastic compilation of the most beautiful aurora footage I have ever seen. It's truly meditative in places and the soundtrack perfectly melds with the mood and magnificence of each epic shot. I've seen the film a few times and I've always found something new to enjoy with each new viewing. I think that the phrase 'emotional landscapes' (Bjork, Joga) best describes the effect this film has on my senses. The aurora is a mesmerizingly beautiful thing to witness, this film is the next best thing to seeing the aurora and the profound beauty of Alaska, live and in person.
